A little more than 50 years ago a courageous woman named Barbara Polka and three fellow thespians formed a theater troupe called the Trinity Players. Determined to provide residents of Trinity County an opportunity for personal growth as a member of community theater, as well as a chance to be entertained by your neighbors, the theater group persisted to exist. Performances were held in the Veteran's Hall, with poor lighting, a makeshift stage, and deplorable acoustics. Not to be deterred, the Trinity Players pushed on with Mrs. Polka at the helm and eventually, through grants, fundraising, and a township full of sweat equity, the troupe acquired the building at it's present day location.
